Ryland and Yoder Page 35

randy35

The guy that is "skinny" is supposed to be my roommate, Denis St. John, but it doesn't look much like him. Check out Denis' (usually NSF) awesome comics HERE. And as usual you can read the first 30 odd pages of this story here.

Ryland and Yoder Part Twelve

These are strips that I came up with years ago and now am redrawing them and using this for this story. Weird.

Ryland and Yoder Part Eleven

Well, it should be pretty clear that I am not making my goal for the NaGraNoWriMo but I did have a lot of fun and it felt good to be doing finished pages again. I'm going to finish this story (probably about 2/3rds of the way through now) and whatever page count I come up to I'll just make a mini-comic of it. Thanks for reading so far.

Ryland and Yoder Part Eight

Although this is around page 18 or whatever, I see these next two pages as more of an intro to the Ryland/Yoder story. You can read the story in order on my flickr HERE

Ryland and Yoder Part Seven

I swear I'm still doing this thing. Unfortunately I have slowed down considerably. I am 27 pages in and only 12 days left it very much looks like I'm doing a graphic novella instead of fullout novel for the month of November but I'm fine with that. Here's three new pages:

Ryland and Yoder Part Six/ 100th post

So, my plan to catch up on the weekend did not quite work out. I caught up on some "Z's" but not pages. These are the two pages I did manage to get done over the weekend:

randy12

randy13

I'm still trudging ahead, I've done about 5 pages this week but not near my goal of 3 a day. At this point I'm just trying to keep going and see what I have in the end.

Ryland and Yoder Part Five

randy11

Only one page again, time to play catch up on the weekend.

Ryland and Yoder Part Four

I can't believe I've already faltered so soon. Drawing this many pages is pretty exhausting, I only got one done last night and technically I inked it today at work.

randy10

Hopefully the weekend is time to catch up on pages then. Wish me luck!

Crazy attmept to do comics part one

Hello all, guess what? I'm going to try to do a graphic novel for the month of November! Crazy, right? Well, it's a challenge that writers do and Colleen Frakes successfully did one last year (check out the awesomeness HERE) and is doing one again this year. I talked to her about it and decided I will try to do it myself. I'm being a little less strict on the rules, trying to do around 3 pages a day with an end goal of around 90 pages.

Here's the first three:

Hey, Everybody ... I'll be at SPX!

excusesminicover

Wow, I have not been good about posting here. But I am drawing comics slowly but surely since graduation at CCS, unfortunately nothing is really complete to bring besides my minis from my thesis. SO, I made up this quick little mini explaining why I don't have new stuff for the show.
The Small Press Expo is next weekend, Sept. 11-12, in Bethesda, Maryland and this is where I'll be:
