Birds' Nest aka Matt Aucoin

mattaucoin

I drew everyone in my class at CCS over the past two weeks, we had to give a presentation for two different classes so it was a perfect opportunity for sketching.
Matt Aucoin is a swell guy with the unfortunate nickname of "birds' nest" for his unkempt hair. His blog is http://roastmutton.blogspot.com

Frustrated by coding

Well, you may have noticed me trying to overhaul the look of my blog and with it a somewhat new website. THIS is what the main page is supposed to look like, but sadly I could not figure out how to do that with updating new posts. The site is not 100%, far from it. I'll let you know when I add to knew sections. But for now the links on the side go to each part of the site "comics" "sketches" "illustration" "shop" and "links." And if you click on the word "news" on those pages it should take you back to this blog. Thanks for bearing with me.

Keny Widjaja

This is in the same style as the visiting artist series of drawings but this one is of my fellow CCS classmate, Keny Widjaja. He's probably not happy that I'm posting this but I'll put a link to his site to try to make up for that. Check out Keny's amazing artwork HERE!

I call this one "emotional Batman" ... I think of him as being grief stricken for the death of Jason Todd.

Here's an extra Batman ...

Jam comic page 8

yvg8

This is one of the other main characters in the jam comic. Don't worry there are pee and other bodily fluid jokes later on so none of it is too serious.

Wednesday, October 14, 2009

Are you there?

yvg7

This is page 7 of an epic jam comic drawn with fellow CCS-er, Mark Bilokur. We drew it in a tiny, knock-off moleskin mostly during visiting artist lectures.
